The Financial Literacy and Investment Program provides San Diego residents with tools and resources to improve their financial standing. Participants are given a clear understanding of the importance of credit, home ownership, investments and entrepreneurship.

Applicants are required to fill out an application and questionnaire, submit to being interviewed by the program director, and participate in a day-long orientation prior to becoming an official Program Participant.

Program participants will be instructed on how to adhere to professional dress codes.

FLIP Classes

The Course

FLIP classes are 3 hours long and are scheduled once a week. The course includes a 10 week intensive training followed by an advanced training class scheduled once per month for 9 months.  The program covers many elements of personal and business finances.

Industry Professionals Will Instruct Community Members in Financial Literacy Using Understandable Language.
